Query the OROBO catalogue directly: as JSON and CSV, or through the Model Context Protocol from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other clients. No key, no sign-up, public data only.

Response: license, attribution, as_of, total, items — fields as in the CSV.
Software: score is null when an entry allows only limited checks (limited: true) — as on the software page and in the badge.
Open CORS (Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *), cached for one hour, at most 600 requests per hour per client at the origin; above that HTTP 429.
Licence CC BY 4.0 — please credit “OROBO, orobo.co”. Every response carries the header Link: rel="license".

MCP server for AI assistants

Remote MCP over Streamable HTTP (JSON-RPC 2.0 via POST, JSON responses), no sign-in. Add this URL in your client:

Name in the MCP registry: co.orobo/catalog. All tools are read-only; users send requests themselves on orobo.co.

Privacy

Only public catalogue data flows through the API and MCP — no names, no email addresses, no requests. OROBO stores neither IP addresses nor query contents; per day it only counts which file or tool was used. For rate limiting the IP address is processed only as a hash in memory and for at most one hour. Privacy policy
