What creators really pay platforms in 2026

AI · not reviewedWritten with AI from the sources listed, not yet editorially reviewed.

From 6.75 to 30 percent: we calculated the fees of the main marketplaces and payment providers for a €20 sale — with all surcharges.

The essentials in three points

  1. On a €20 sale HALO keeps 6.75% via your own link and 9.75% via HALO — Stripe included.
  2. Gumroad direct costs 16.9%, Gumroad Discover 30%, Notion 10%, Apple and Google 15%.
  3. Compare the share of the final price, not the headline — fixed cents hit cheap products hardest.

Notion Marketplace 8 % + 0,40 $ 10 %
Apple / Google (kleine Entwickler) 15 % 15 %
Gumroad direkt 10 % + 0,50 $ + 2,9 % + 0,30 $ 16,9 %
Gumroad Discover 30 % 30 %

Was in den Schlagzeilen fehlt
