About the category

What it is

Industrial robots are the proven workhorses of manufacturing: articulated robots for welding, handling and palletising, SCARA robots for fast assembly and delta robots for high-speed pick-and-place. They usually work in a safeguarded cell with fencing or light curtains. Manufacturers offer large model ranges with different payloads and reaches.

What companies use them for

  • Welding, gluing and painting in series production.
  • Handling heavy parts and loading pallets.
  • Fast assembly and pick-and-place with SCARA and delta robots.
  • Linking machines across several processing steps.

What to look for when buying

  1. Size payload, reach and cycle time with a margin.
  2. Controller and programming language: do they suit your team and your other robots?
  3. Safety concept of the cell and space requirements.
  4. Service, spare parts and training in your region.

Integration & effortEffort: high

A robot cell is usually planned by a system integrator: layout, safeguards, gripper, control integration, programming and CE marking of the complete system. Offline programming and simulation shorten commissioning on site.

Software that fits

Licence details without guarantee — the project’s own licence is authoritative. We can set up and integrate it for you at a fixed price.

Simulation

How it runs in your operation

A simplified, typical sequence — not a recording of a real deployment.

  1. Define layout, cycle time and safety concept.

  2. Check paths and reachability on the digital model.

  3. Install and connect robot, fencing and peripherals.

  4. Fine-tune, accept and complete CE marking.

Brokering

How brokering works

  1. 01Request

Add the product to your request and tell us quantity, goal and timing. Free and without obligation.

  2. 02OROBO checks and obtains the quote

We check your need and intended use, screen buyer and seller against EU and US sanctions lists and obtain the quote from the manufacturer or its dealer. Your contact details only go to the seller with your consent.

  3. 03You buy directly from the manufacturer or its dealer

Contract, payment, delivery and warranty run directly between you and the seller. OROBO is neither seller nor importer and does not accept payments for goods.

Free for you: the seller alone sets the price. OROBO may receive a commission from the seller — on request we tell you whether and how much; it influences neither recommendations nor order. For now we broker for buyers in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Terms § 6b · Disclosure
